For two years now, Eymeric, Séverine, Marine and Ambre have been preparing what people call "the trip of a lifetime", and for good reason: a round-the-world trip lasting a full year!
Lucky them, right?! This round-the-world adventure starts this year in June and is due to wrap up in June 2018, unless they decide to stop somewhere along the way and settle in one of the many countries they'll be passing through!
But they're not there yet. For now they're still knee-deep in preparations, and it's quite a job. On the itinerary: the United States, Canada, Mexico, Peru, Bolivia, Chile, Argentina, New Zealand, New Caledonia, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, Nepal, Australia, then back home to Vienne, in the Isère. Quite a programme, isn't it!
No, this isn't a round-the-world trip by bike, on foot or on a scooter, that wouldn't be so easy with the two young ladies coming along for the ride! To pull off this trip, pretty much every mode of transport will be used: plane, boat, car, and of course campervan!
And just as obviously, they went through CoolDrive Nomad to rent their campervans ;-) The campervan road trips will take place in Canada, the American West and New Zealand, three dream destinations for any campervan traveller, with several weeks of rental each time to see everything, stop wherever they like, and simply take their time!
