A quick update on our motorhome experience, including one small mishap along the way.
First of all, thank you to your team for the service overall. Thanks to your advice and to the professionalism of Best Time RV, we had a really great motorhome trip with the kids. On the organizational side, all the files, checklists, and exchanges I had with you, along with a wealth of information on Roadtrippin.fr, let us travel with real peace of mind and discover parts of California, Arizona, Utah, and Nevada. Fantastic.
We chose not to book campgrounds in advance and to figure things out as we went. Over three weeks, we only needed one twice: once in Las Vegas (handy for being right in the city center and enjoying the evening there), and once in California, where the rangers and the Walmarts were fairly unfriendly — though you had warned us, that's just how it goes, and we calmly packed up and headed to a campground. The rest of the time we made the most of the open spaces and stopped wherever we liked. The Walmart in Page is worth remembering and recommending for exploring the area: we spent three days there, with a station right across the street where we could dump waste and refill water for free.
On the ground, Best RV was excellent: efficient, quick, friendly, very well organized, and available throughout the trip for any question. As for the vehicle, it was in good condition, clean, compact, and practical. We managed to sleep six without any trouble — the central bench was comfortable enough for the 8- and 9-year-olds, and everyone had enough space.
One complaint: the finish was a bit flimsy, with drawers and cupboards that kept popping open while driving, right from day one — a bit annoying, since we had to rig up makeshift ties with string.
The size of the motorhome made it easy to drive, but we still had a small incident and damaged a side trim strip, as noted in the attached vehicle return documents.
Could you let us know if it's possible to cover this extra cost? We'd appreciate your feedback on this. Thanks again for your very professional and thorough service.
